Remarks

Eurostat definition of live birth: Births of children that showed any sign of life. It is the number of births excluding stillbirths (total births include live births and stillbirths).

Percentage of live births in a certain age group are calculated from the total number of live births (irrespective of birth order) in a certain age group by mother's age at last birthday devided by the total number of live births to all mothers.
