Remarks

The data shown for WHO-HFA and OECD are derived from the same standard national sources (standard health interview surveys). The data shown for Eurostat are taken from a once-only data collection. In this case, the data come from non-harmonised national surveys, and from different years, ranging from 1996 to 2003.

The databases were accessed in July 2006. Only those countries are shown, for which all three databases contained data collected for the same year at that time.
